There are other games in AoE franchise. There are AoE, Age of Mythology and AoE3. AoE is the first game made in hte franchise, precisely in the year 1991. The game focuses on antiquity with civilizations from Europe and Asia. It has recieved definitive edition in year 2019 though it still has some funky mechanics and bonuses. There are no unique units for each civ in AoE so it is the most generic experience out of all the AoE games. Next up we have Age of Mythology, which was the first 3D game in the franchise, with the least amount of factions but the most asymetric ones. It has recieved some expansions throughout the years but they haven't been well recieved. Last one of these games is AoE3, probably the second most played game of the set. It is based in america colonization era with the game made around the theory of Europian civs colonizing the new world. It also adds the home city system, from where you can send shipments of resources, units and other misc stuff. AoE3 has the quite asymetric civilizations with unbelievable amount of different playstyles you can choose from. It is also faster paced than other franchise games.
