UCL Maths Challenge
The first 2010/2011 event is on Monday, 29th November! Please register by 12th November. Details can be found here.
UCL Maths Challenge is a mathematical competition for Year 6 primary school pupils from London. It is organised by University College London (UCL) student volunteers and supported by UCL Union Volunteering Services Unit and UCL Department of Mathematics. It was also supported by Junction49 in 2007/2008.
UCL Maths Challenge 2007/2008 was awarded the Higher Education Volunteering Award 2008. UCL Maths Challenge 2008/2009 won the Abbey '1 UCL' Excellence/Endeavour Award 2008/2009, which enabled us to donate £1000 to a charity of our choice. We earmarked this money to Save the Children towards the Rewrite the Future campaign aimed at delivering education to children in armed conflict-affected countries.
